With a few exceptions, NexTalk Workplace requires an Internet connection. We recommend a high-speed Internet connection (DSL, cable modem or T1 line) to take advantage of the various video services offered. If your installation does not include video services, then slower Internet connections are acceptable. If your organization plans to host its own NexTalk Workplace servers, you may be able to run NexTalk Workplace on your local area network without an Internet connection.
