SALT LAKE CITY, UT July 31, 2009 – Thanks to a donation from NexTalk and URrelay, staff members at the American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB) are able to enjoy advanced call management capabilities for their video, text and relay calls formerly available only to sighted and hearing people through voice-based business PBX telephone systems.
In its July newsletter, AADB thanked NexTalk and URrelay for their donations. “The NexTalk software and webcams have made it much easier for us to keep in touch with each other and with the public,” a spokesperson said.
"We consider it a privilege to be able to support AADB,” said NexTalk CEO Todd Wakefield. “It’s terrific organization doing important work. If our solutions can help the staff become more efficient in doing that, it tells us we’re achieving our goal helping organizations and people with disabilities to work more effectively,” he added.
